Two Day Defector

In 2019, my late husband Renato was contacted by someone, who for whatever reasons at the time, decided to defect and share all they could about the inner workings of the Valentino death cult of which they were a high ranking member. The initial contact with Renato came in the form of a Facebook Direct Message.

We knew this person well, as one proudly and prominently attacking us and our work and for years. Among their many boasts, they repeatedly referred to me as being insane, claimed Renato was exploiting my madness and bragged how they were influential in having our books removed from sale. They positioned themselves front and center in the ludicrous cult claim I forged all the documents I discovered.

I knew this person as the very first to post a vicious one star and nonsensical hit review on any new book we published. Notoriously visible on both of the cult's Valentino Facebook forums, they gleefully trashed us and mercilessly.

I add I knew this defector was a tireless loyalist to the cult leader and worked feverishly in this coveted role. When a blogger once interviewed me and posted an article about my work, the defector began dispatching hit e-mails to this young woman. When I appeared on a radio show, again the defector contacted the show's producers to defame and chastise the station for even having me on the show.

So when this person wrote Renato alleging they were no longer affiliated with the cult, I was suspicious and told Renato not to reply. He was more circumspect and curious and engaged in a messenger exchange over a period of a couple of days.

Apparently the defector had some reason to abandon the cult and their lofty position as hater. However, of course by 2019, when the defector's message popped up on Renato's Facebook page, we had been under attack from the cult for ten years. We knew the cast of characters and their affiliations only too well. It was not that we learned any real breaking news from the defector, but their statements left in print via Facebook messenger to Renato would certainly validate the situation.

It was not so long, a couple of days before the defector was wooed back into the fold. But in that brief time they shared a lengthy account full of wild revelations which included the following highlights.

They emphasized the controlling role of the cult leader referring to him as, “the puppet master” and detailed the existence of “the campaign to ruin Evelyn” as they referred to it. They itemized the various personalities actually running the Facebook forums, writing how they are “thick as thieves” and “working against Evelyn”. They also referred to the administrators as, “snakes” and the cult leader as not only the “puppet master”, but, “truly a snake” and a “master of manipulation”.

I quote:

“ (Redacted) has always been the puppet master. No one else ever pulled the strings. Even David (Bret) would have to read his entire statement before posting it on his blog.”

They then shared a list of everyone in the cult's sexual orientation outlining who was gay, bi or straight adding:

“There are many of us who detest David Bret but he has done so much damage to our gay and bisexual community that it can be difficult to cross him. He divided us when we should be working together. Even (redacted puppet master) does not want Bret physically in the U.S.”

They elaborated on the cult's “bully machine” being used against us and detailed at length how the “Puppet Master” calls all the shots on both of his forums.

We learned David Bret most certainly believed in the legal validity of my victorious defamation lawsuit against him and although he claimed he was not served, the defector told us he sure was.

Throughout the exchange it was apparent to Renato and I that our assessment of the Valentino deep state construct was and had always been spot on. By deep state I refer to the secrecy involved in the working alliances of the collectors and their following on their forums. This is not something they ever openly discuss and the defector's revelations were stunning in that they ever existed at all.

After the defector vanished, I posted some of the messages on my blog. The cult administrators were quick to say the defector lied and was feeding us false information. We knew better.

In the months after we made the messages public, the defector opened a blog where they focused on the ridiculous claims I forged all of the documents we discovered. They posted elaborate analyses of how I used an old typewriter, old paper and made comparisons between the fonts used, etc.

By far the most grotesque new angle the defector devised post Facebook message revelations was the claim Renato made romantic passes at them. I can say this enraged the quintessential gentleman Renato.

I feel a deep sadness because of these disreputable people's pervasive actions being allowed to saturate the legacy of Valentino. I am never sure why so many folks support them while knowing exactly how they behave.

This said, I can understand the fear in not crossing any of them because the loyalty to the leader makes them dangerous people. They will ruin someone's online identity in minutes as they have done to us.

But for a few days in 2019, a window was flung open, laying bare the cruel and desperate machinations of a cult.... a cult in thrall of the earthly relics of one Rudolph Valentino.

I have appeared on the same radio show many times to talk about Valentino and every single time, my appearance is followed by a call, an e-mail to the producers from the two day defector. I will close with this observation by the show's producers. They laughed it off because the emails and phone calls made the two day defector's insanity was painfully obvious.

The point being, and a point I have made in almost every one of my audio notes here, is that those attacking us accuse us of doing exactly what they do every single day.
