I've gained a vast new perspective on many things since my beloved husband Renato passed away. This is especially so in regards to the attacks made against us and our work on Valentino and Rambova. I now see so clearly how tragic and psychotic, how petty.... those I shall not name... were to Renato and I and now me. They are now to me just pathologically threatened people hiding behind their paper thin tempers and egos.
I used to be insecure, more fragile way back when. I was more nerve-wracked by the attacks and I cared more. It hurt.
Now, I recognize all Renato and I accomplished together despite those I shall not name. The books Renato and I produced are now divine to me. Every single time I look at the collection sitting on the shelf, I see their brilliance as a proof of our great love. What a daunting task for anyone to undertake to try and tarnish them. Impossible. It is no wonder those who I will not name have failed and all their hateful efforts directed our way have fizzled out so miserably.
I intended to construct a post here as a detailed analysis of how the magus (small m) seized the opportunity to hijack the URL of my Affairs Valentino blog back in 2012. I was going to explain how even knowing this address directed people to my blog about my book, and even knowing I was extorted by his accomplice into closing the blog... despite knowing all this... the magus has run that blog pretending to be me, writing smack about my work and me for years on end.
I intended to detail how he used his deceitful, designated hate blog to act as a platform for David Bret to violate a court order and continue his brutal defamation and how on this blog he allows his other toadies to have at us in the comment section. And I was going to explain how the magus so feebly pretended his blog, run under the name of a book he so hates... how he claimed it is a literary critique. If it were not so hateful it would be silly.
I intended to elaborate on what could make someone so cruel as to do something like that. Could it be childhood trauma, genetic disposition, insane levels of greed, ego dysphoria, psychological imbalances?
Instead of creating a manifesto explaining all of this, I decided to just read a few of the magus' lines from his posts on that blog under the title of my book Affairs Valentino... These are but a few of tens of thousands of lines from him, captured over the years by Renato... and reveal the basic content of what the magus considers a literary critique. And I quote:
I am not sure why I found these squibs in my file today but they say it all as to what kind of person he is. I always knew but my new perspective makes it all so very crystal clear.
